Feeling so much better today than I did this weekend. I'm especially glad that I was feeling well enough to go to Cardio Challenge today. I made it over half way through the class, and I started feeling SO sick. My friend, Jennifer, said I didn't look good, and I was looking pale, and she thought maybe I should go home. "But I don't want to go home! I want to finish!", I said in my whiny voice. At one point we were supposed to sprint, and I did. For a few moments afterwards, I was thinking that was a HUGE mistake! I pushed through and made it until the end. :)

This afternoon I decided to go for a jog...even though it was RIDICULOUSLY hot. I was really proud because I knew the old Jamie wouldn't have stepped foot outside in such heat, much less went running in it! I took a whole bottle of water with me, and about half way through I was worried it might run out before I made it back. I ran 1.6 miles in 15 minutes. I feel pretty good about that time, especially in this heat. The last time I ran that route it took me about 20 minutes, so I'm getting faster! :)

The main reason why I decided to jog this afternoon was to try out a new iPhone app that I just purchased. I pressed "GO" and started jogging. Nothing was happening, but I didn't want to lose my momentum, and it was hard to really look at my phone while it was strapped to my arm. When I got home and looked at the screen, there was a "START" button that I was supposed to have pushed after I pressed "GO"! :( Well, next time I'll know!

I'm really hoping I didn't over do it today. I've already taken a nice, hot Epsom salt bath, and I plan to pop a few Tylenol before I get in the bed, which will be very soon!

P.S. Today during class, Sarah said she wish she had my legs!!! I've literally never had anyone say anything even remotely close to that. All I could do was laugh. TOTALLY made my day! :)

  2. Thanks!!! :) It really was TOO hot to jog. I felt like the bottom of my shoes were going to melt! I guess if I want to keep jogging through the summer, I should try to do it in the morning or much later in the evening.
