Memory Lane

I saw this right outside my back door the other day. Its called a blue-tailed skink. It was beautiful and terrifying, all at the same time. To me, it looks like something that should be in South America somewhere, not Birmingham! I've pretty much had my fill of strange critters in and around my dwellings since I've been here. First the scorpions in our apartment and now this! David just better hope and pray I never see one of these inside.
