best moment this week: Seeing Baby Lane and it's heartbeat!  I saw the baby as soon as the tech placed the wand on my belly!  Then she showed us the heartbeat, and of course, I cried!  It was about 150, which is good! And the baby measured 7 weeks 3 days, just like I thought!

sweet, little Baby Lane!

second best moment this week: Announcing our pregnancy on Facebook

what I miss: Not being hungry all the time
what I'm looking forward to: I guess I'm most looking forward to our next appointment.  The ultrasound tech said we'd be able to see Baby Lane moving then! :)

  1. I remember feeling like that! Yuck... not fun at all, but so worth it. Seeing your itty bitty teeny tiny baby for the first time is pretty awesome... wait until you hear the heartbeat! Whoa, what an experience.

  5. Thanks for the comment on Murphy's post! I'm glad he brought you to my blog! He's such an important part of my life... as your pups are in yours. Wheatens really are an awesome breed and if I ever got another dog it would be another Wheaten!
